Business Development Director

Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities

Develop, curate and cultivate E4H contacts and client base in the greater VA/DC region.  Work with Partners to create opportunities to grow E4H presence in the pursuit of new client relationships.  Contribute to E4H national client relationship growth opportunities and collaborate with Business Development staff in other E4H offices.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum of five years Business Development experience in the Architecture & Design space. Experience with healthcare architecture or lab/life sciences is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree or comparable business experience
  • Strong relationship building skills, gracious, competitive and self-motivated
  • Ability and willingness to attend client and healthcare business events during off hours.
  • Demonstrated ability and drive to win project work based on pursuit, proposals and presentations.
  • Professional demeanor and comfortable in C-suite settings.
Job duties includes but not limited to:
  • Actively and strategically represent E4H capabilities to the healthcare market and decision makers.
  • Develop clear, compelling stories and presentations that result in new opportunities, foster growth of current relationships, and positive exposure of the firm in the healthcare market.  
  • Develop new project opportunities through market research, strategic planning, personal networking efforts and professional relationships.
  • Mobilize E4H resources to show E4H in the best light in presentation or written format.
  • Attend regional and national healthcare focused industry events.
  • Collaborate with Partners and other BD staff in the E4H network to consistently reinforce the value proposition of E4H service offerings. 
  • Track and report on pipeline on a frequent basis with partners and BD leadership.  


Accounts Payable Specialist

New York, NY

Responsibilities

  • Codes such items as invoices, vouchers, expense reports, check requests, etc., with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system.
  • Consultant invoices are matched to approved fees and entered into system. Differences are rejected, maintained in a separate log and follow up with project manager.
  • Handles all vendor correspondence via phone or email
  • Attaches the corresponding check copies to vendor invoices with all supporting documentation.
  • Reconciles company Mastercard program (25 cardholders).
  • Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders.
  • Prepares batch check runs matching invoices and supporting documentation and scan into accounting files.
  • Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
  • Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents, records and reports.
  • Accounts for missing timesheets and ensures coding is proper.
  • Prepares the semi-monthly payroll in ADP with oversight by the HR team.
  • Performs other duties as required to support Accounting Department.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to be discrete and maintain confidentiality in all matters regarding payroll and vendor payment information.
  • 3-4 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
  • 10-key by touch
  • Excel skills a must (sort, filer, pivot tables)
  • Architecture/Engineering firm experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills; must be detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Open to change and willing to learn new skills
  • Ability to follow up on pending issues

Project Manager

Reports to:  Partner/Project Manager 

Status: Full Time

Architectural firm with multi-office national focus is seeking a project manager to manage the organization of key client projects. This role will require a working understanding of project management in an A/E/C firm as well as a solid understanding of healthcare architecture and proficiency in REVIT.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Has full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects. 
  • Responsible for coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. 
  • Actively manages project budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments.
  • Provides oversight and monitoring of work of less experienced designers and architects. Ensures quality control.
  • Serves as the primary consultant liaison and secondary client liaison to complete projects on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Architecture.
  • Ideal candidate has 8 or more years of experience working in an A/E/C firm or in healthcare architecture.
  • Excellent computer skills with experience in REVIT for architecture and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Proficiency with Deltek-Ajera software preferred, but not required.
  • Licensure preferred or demonstrated recent effort on the path to licensure.

Full-time employee on the path to licensure with 5+ years of experience, Bachelor’s
degree, preparing for NCIDQ/Licensing examination.

  • Works under the direct supervision of the interior design senior staff in the development of design solutions for a variety of projects.
  • Performs routine tasks such as redlines, researching colors/finish materials, assists in the preparation of presentation material and the documentation of information.
  • Responsibilities also include maintaining the interiors library and vendor calendar.
  • Must possess appropriate technology skills such as AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop and SketchUp.
  • Good communication skills required.
