Harvard Medical School Clinical Skills Center
The Clinical Skills Center is used for teaching, assessing clinical communication and physical exam skills, while also serving as the site to administer the multi-station Objective Structured Clinical Exams (OSCE’s).
The state-of-the-art facility provides a clinical environment for medical students to develop the examination and communication skills needed to become physicians. Faculty members are able to offer students instruction and feedback using microphones from observation stations located outside each exam room or by replaying captured audio/video of exams and classes remotely. Ceiling mounted operable partitions allow 10 of the 18 exam rooms to be opened to form group learning simulations with wireless mannequins.
The 7,500SF facility achieved a USGBC LEED Gold Certification.
